Chadian hot toddy
Ingredients
– Rum
– Water
– Garlic
– Honey
Preparation
Boil a clove of thinly sliced garlic in 1/3 of a glass of water for 1 minute; add 1/3 of a glass of rum and bring it to the boiling point. Take off the boil, let it stand for 3 min; pour into a glass or a tea cup and sweeten with a liquid honey (acacia, thyme or conifer) guaranteed not to have been heated and bought directly from a beekeeper who only sells his own local honey. Don’t throw the garlic slices away; put them in a soup or on a vegetable plate.
Dosage
– As this contains alcohol, drink only one glass a day before bedtime; this remedy is for adults only.
